What we do.

Repointing, brick replacement, lintel work, chimney repairs, parging, and heritage stonework on residential properties. Small jobs and full-elevation restoration. Documented at every stage.

I · Repointing

Mortar restoration

Failed joints removed at three-quarter inch depth. Mortar matched to your original wall in colour and profile. Hand-tooled. Approved on a sample patch before main work proceeds.

II · Brick repair

Brick & stone replacement

Spalled, cracked, or missing units replaced with a unit matched to the surrounding wall. Reclaimed brick where available. Single-piece lintel replacements where original steel has failed.

III · Chimney

Chimney repointing

Above-roofline mortar restoration. Chimney crowns rebuilt in cementitious wash. Cap and flashing inspected as part of the same visit. No leak left unflagged.

IV · Parging

Parging touch-up

Foundation parging spot-repaired or fully resurfaced. Lime-based mortar where the substrate calls for it. Cementitious where modern materials are appropriate.

V · Steps

Stone & brick step rebuild

Front step rebuilds in original brick or stone. Salvaged units reused. Tread heights matched to existing flight. Drainage slope corrected where settling has fouled it.

VI · Inspection

Masonry inspection report

Walk-around assessment, written report, photo documentation. Issued as PDF within two business days. Useful for pre-listing, pre-purchase, or simply knowing what you own. Paid service. Credited toward work if you proceed.

II Standards

Four standards. Held on every job.

The standards are the work. Hold them on the $1,200 chimney repoint as on the $40,000 full elevation. Same uniforms, same documentation, same warranty.

Heritage-grade materials

Lime-based mortars where the wall calls for it. NHL 3.5 for soft brick. Cementitious blends for modern masonry. Mortar matched to your wall, not picked from a shelf.

Modern dust control

Hilti tuckpointing shroud paired with HEPA-class extraction. Crew in PAPR respirators. Silica below the OEL on every cut. Your front yard does not need to wear our work.

Documentation

Sample patch photos. Mortar mix recorded. Daily progress images. Final handover package as PDF — what was done, in what materials, with what care.

Five-year warranty

Workmanship warrantied for five years in writing. WSIB clearance on file. $2 million CGL certificate available on request. Working at Heights certified across the crew.
